He’s so adorable, I died a little (ಥ﹏ಥ)

First and foremost, this anime is actually a fanmade production, but don’t let that stop you from watching it because it’s a very solid anime OVA. I loved the Horimiya manga so much, and I was quite surprised that it wasn’t picked-up by a company to be made into an anime. So you bet that when I heard about this version I was very ecstatic. At first, I didn’t even know that it was fanmade because it was good enough to be made by a company with a limited budget. The art style is simplistic, but the voice acting is very good and you can definitely see how much hard work was put into this OVA.

The storyline was very fast paced, which if you read the manga shouldn’t really be a big deal. I, myself read it a long time ago but stopped (because life) and this anime was a nice refresher. On the other hand, if you’ve never read the manga I think this anime will be a nice introduction to the manga and will help you enjoy it a lot.

The characters are also awesome, there is a small and brief love triangle situation going on but the guys are good sports about it and allow Hori to make her own decision without being pushy. I think the male interests in this anime are probably my favorites in all the school romance animes I have watched, because they are gentleman and not complete assholes from the start. ( Don’t @ me, but I’m talking about Blue spring ride…main interest annoyed me the whole time LMAO).

What a precious thing to cleanse our eyes with.
