We’ve reached the finale of this three part review, and thankfully I don’t want to wash my eyes out with bleach today. I’m proud.
Overall things are getting more interesting, and we get some backstory. Of course, the backstories are not that crazy and the characters act like playing rugby is a life or death situation, but that’s just how sports anime are; not a problem.
Haruma was growing on me this episode until he randomly stole the captain’s limelight and decided who they should play next, but again that’s not a problem either. You gotta do what you gotta do to get the story going.
We also randomly find out that their school is a boarding school, which was confusing but still not a problem.
So the animation definitely improved, and we’re getting less mishaps now. I’m not sure what was going on before, but it seems to at least be getting better.
Imagine this: you’re a student and you were assigned a 20 page research paper, and you decide to do it the night before. Your introduction and begining paragraphs are not very good, but you keep going and as you get into the groove the essay gets better. In the end, you can’t fix it because now you have 2 minutes to turn it in or take the zero. You turn it in and you still get a nice 63% at most, because although your writing became better it’s still not very good overall because it hasn’t been revised.
Now, take this scenario and thats exactly how I would describe the animation. I don’t think they revised it but it’s getting a little better.
I really think they didn’t revise this very well, because otherwise this face fluctuation probably would not happen. I don’t even know what to say about this because I have never seen this type of mistake in any of the anime I’ve seen before. Thankfully, it was just one big mistake and then smaller less significant ones. I assure you the quality is getting better and hopefully it continues to get better.
There was also this situation pointed out to me by a friend
His hair and eye color completely changes…not sure how that happened.
As you can see, I couldn’t believe my eyes.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️.5/ 5
I gave this rating because while I think it’s not good, I do see improvements so I don’t want to be too harsh. But if you were to ask me whether I would continue to watch it or not? My answer would be a flat no, because if I’m gonna watch an anime I need to feel enticed, curious and excited about the next episode and this anime wasn’t making me feel this way.
I’m just glad one of my friends decided to watch this anime and help me uphold my promise of a three episode review lol.
Thank you ma’am.
A little note: I have a newfound respect for my fellow bloggers who somehow manage to do episode-by-episode reviews on anime. This was tough, and I ended up wanting to write about anything other than Try Knights. I tip my non-existent fedora to y’all.
